If you can’t find your answer from the resources at the website above, keep digging into my vids, and I’m sure you will find your answer. Keep practicing!!!

Where do you sign in at to get the other charts? I have been to the homepage and see no link for the charts or a place to log in?

Do you have lesson on explaining what the parts of song are, like the bridge, turn around etc?… I have never been able to grasp the concept of how bridge works and how to fit all the pieces together.

I have been watching your videos and I bought the ebook, but I have a question. The charts show which chords to hit, but how do you determine the strum pattern to go with them?

hello! thanks so much for all these instructional videos. they are really helpful and you do a fantastic job teaching gutiar! i am learning so much already! i wish i could be one of your students. I purchased the ebook…awesome. i have a question though. with the charts you make, how do i know the rhythm or rather the strum pattern to the songs? am i missing something in your ebook that explains it? or do i just have to listen to the song to emulate what the artists do? thanks a bundle! -Liz

apparently it is one of the easiest instruments to learn. its worth giving it a go, and it would be a fun thing to do in your spare time.

I’m looking at the chart for Hallelujah and in the chorus and verse next to one of the G’s is a tiny BC that looks really out of place. what does it mean?

the numbers mean what chord to play in the key you are in. If you are in key of C….then (I) is C….(II) is D….(III) E. just make sure the chord is major or minor and you will have the tools

i don’t understand the taylor swift songs with the numbers instead of chords at all, i’m looking for somewhere on the website to explain, but otherwise, the eBook is pretty good. i’m slowly learning the songs, but even though i’ve been playing almost 4 years, i’ve never come across the numbers, apart from tabliature. oh, and i couldn’t really read the handwriting properly (sorry)

  19. Caffeinated Content

The numbers represent the chords position in the major scale of the key the song is written in.

Remember when you learned DO-RE-MI-FA-SO-LA-TI-DO in school?! Those are the tones of the major scale, DO being 1, RE being 2, Mi being 3, etc., till you get to the beginning note 1 octave higher (the last DO).

The notes of the C major scale are: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C. The same scale can be played with the chords: C (I) , Dm (IIm) , Em (IIIm), F (IV), G (V), Am (VIm), Bdim (VIIdim), C (VIII).

4/4 means 4 beats per messure. So say if a song is in 4/4 and 4 beats per messure. So if in the first messure theres a C chord, and the song is in 4/4, play the C chord 4 times. Now I might have explained that wrong lol. I know what it means, but not the greatest at explaining.

  21. Caffeinated Content – Members-Only Content for WordPress

4/4 means there are four beats in each measure and the quarter note gets the beat…..in other words the song is in four

Would it not just be easier to tab it, or do the chords above lyrics like on ultimate guitar?
    Helpful anyway. =]

The numbers refer to chords, which I don’t know off the top of my head.
